  Each of these two sessions will allow attendees to participate in a more detailed discussion in one particular area of focus.  The general session group will break into two groups, one focusing on Solid Waste and Landfill Gas, the other on methane capture from Dairy Farms.  Each session is designed to bring together industry practitioners, technology providers, and regulatory agencies for a thorough examination of real life projects and technologies at work.

The recent adoption of California's Low Carbon Fuel Standard puts a fine point on where real opportunities are for the use of low carbon fuels and all signs point to Biomethane. This panel will review existing and pending State and Federal legislation affecting Biomethane production and will detail "need to know" information concerning Biomethane and its role as the potential transportation fuel of the future. The implications of AB32, AB939, AB479 and other California and Federal bills will be addressed in order to create a crystal clear view of the current landscape.
